Episode 4 - is like this. Or references it. One of those.
Erin’s mother is playing the Matriarch of a cult of KU fans in ‘SOMETHING of the Jayhawks!’ (still to be decided, though I think we’re leading towards ‘children’. Unfortunately she and Erin hail from Columbia, which is host to the University of Missouri - which is KU’s other big rival (apparently).
This was on my Facebook news feed today.
We are totes at Gally!
Well, I’m not. But four members of the cast and crew are at Gally and handing out some tip top amazing fliers by Anadapta (the printed versions have a facebook address - I just don’t have a copy of that for some reason…)(possibly because I’m not there/don’t need it)(boo).
Say hi if you see them! They are (left to right) Mi (Production Assistant), Calliope (who plays Lynn in episode 5 - SOMETHING of the Jayhawks), Scott (who plays Sam in episode 5), and Bess (Production).
Some of my favourite Jayhawk images from google. Good research for episode 5.
Katy, Jon, and (briefly) Erin discuss what’s been going on in the Radiosonic world, including thoughts on acting, Cybermen, and the episode 5 readthrough. This podcast also comes with a free clip of almost none of the final actors from this scene in a scene from episode 5: Terror/Destiny/Children of the Jayhawks.
Production team people still needed!
Radiosonic Workshop is currently producing a series of audios based on the BBC Webcast, Scream of the Shalka (which was written by Paul Cornell, and starred Richard E. Grant, as the Doctor, Derek Jacobi as the Master, and Sophie Okonedo (Liz X) as the companion, Alison). Our series is based heavily on the format established by our beloved Big Finish (4 x 25 minute episodes) and will run to 7 episodes with a contained arc.
We are looking for:
* Directors - who have directed at least one show in any medium
* Editors - no experience necessary
* SFX sourcers - no experience necessary
* Music sourcers - no experience necessary
* Musicians of all types, but particularly string instrumentalists and percussionists
* Composers
* Production Assistants - experience: good at lists, sending emails, and staying in touch
If you’re willing to do any of these tasks PLEASE get in contact with us. The work should be both fun and rewarding and, as you can see, no experience is necessary for a lot of the roles we need. Thanks!
There’s more information about the roles at our LJ community, but you don’t need to be on LJ to apply.

(Sorry for spamming you, fandom. More pictures of Richard E. Grant soon).
